Will definitely recommend Pitt to everyone

Student at bus stop

I am Jerome and I had a semester exchange at Pitt in AY19/20. I study Computer Science and took some courses there in which I thoroughly enjoyed myself, especially the one with Dr Bill Garrison where I looked forward to each of his classes (highly recommended to take his classes).

The people in Pitt were pretty friendly and vocal compared to my home country in which I really liked and appreciated. I made some friends over at Pitt while joining some clubs and we had such a good time with each other that we promised to host each other if we were to travel to each other's home country. I am not sure whether it was because I was on exchange and my grades didn't matter, but I felt really free and joyous over at Pitt which made me miss Pitt a lot.

Programs were organized every two weeks for the international students (including exchange students) to ensure that we get a holistic immersion into the states! These trips were amazing and they included camping, visiting Amish communities, etc. In addition, Pittsburgh has a good location as we exchange students can travel to the nearby states (West to Chicago, East to Philly, North-East to NYC, South-East to D.C) during the weekends via Greyhound which offered flexible timings for our travels. In all, I am really grateful for this experience in Pitt and will definitely recommend Pitt to everyone who is looking for an awesome time.
